DF Deutsche Forfait AG takes over forfaiting activities from Aon Forfaiting Limited

DF Deutsche Forfait AG continues the expansion strategy it has been actively pursuing since its IPO in May 2007 and today concluded an agreement with Aon Trade Credit, London, on taking over the forfaiting activities of Aon Forfaiting Limited as of 30 November 2007. The two companies further agreed on an intensive cooperation in generating and financing forfaiting operations.

Against this background, DF Deutsche Forfait is opening a London branch to be managed by two very experienced forfaiting brokers previously working for Aon Forfaiting Limited. With the two new brokers’ long-standing customer contacts, DF Deutsche Forfait will have excellent access to the important corporate market in Britain which is highly attractive for the forfaiting business due to the large number of export-oriented companies.

The Board expects the London branch to make a significant positive profit contribution for DF Deutsche Forfait Group in the financial year 2008 already and to further diversify the earnings structure through the complementary customer relations of Aon Forfaiting Limited. This supports the positive outlook for the further business development of DF Deutsche Forfait in the coming months.
